What on earth am I here for?
Why did God make you a man or woman?
You are who God made you to be because he has a purpose and a plan for you, yes you!
Jeremiah 1:5 says ‘before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations’.
Jeremiah 29:11 also says ‘For I know the thoughts I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.’
God’s plan and purpose for your life was determine from the very beginning of time - before you were even conceived in your mother’s womb!. Please take a moment and let that sink deep into your heart.
The apostle Paul also stated this truth with mind blowing details in Ephesians 1:3-7(NKJV) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
These, to me, sounds like God had everything about your life planned before you here! There was a plan, a purpose and destiny for your life before you were born but unfortunately the details of the process has been kept from us.
So we start life “on our own” and do what we think is is what we are meant to be doing until we somehow land into what God purposed for us ; where he begins to work all things together for good (see Gal. 1:13-17 and Rom. 8:28-30).
This means that God in his sovereign power uses everything we go through in life for his purpose and glory! God gave you your height, temperaments, gifts and talents for a reason - serve his purpose. your life here on earth fits perfectly in God's plan but we can only enjoy God’s purpose and plan for our lives if we accept Jesus as our lord and saviour because in Him all things hold together.
Remain blessed in the Lord Jesus.
