Hi everyone welcome to our news feed.
“Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all." (Acts 4:32, 33 NKJV).
This passage always touches my heart. To me, it pictures what every bible-believing, spirit-filled church should look and feel like. But sadly, this is not what we are seeing in the 21st Centry. The more churches grow and multiply the more we divide along theological, ethnic and socio-cultural boundaries. Jesus prayed in John 17 that "they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me."
Unity (not uniformity) in our churches will, without question, convince the (unsaved) world that God, indeed, sent His son into our world to save it. Wouldn't it be great for the communities we serve to testify that we "have all things in common" because there is none who lack among us? Please pause, think and do something about it. Thank you.
