Pastor William teaches...... How is the Body of Christ structured, and what is your role in God's Church? In this enlightening sermon, The Structure of the Body of Christ, we explore God's divine design for His Church, the importance of spiritual leadership, and how every believer has a unique responsibility in building up the Body of Christ. Drawing from Ephesians 1:22–23, Acts 1:18, and Ephesians 4:11–12, this message helps us understand that the Church is more than an organisation or a building. It is a living, spiritual Body with Jesus Christ as its Head, and every member called to serve, grow, and contribute to its purpose. God has established different roles, gifts, and ministries within His Church—not to create division or competition, but to equip believers, strengthen unity, and bring the Body of Christ to maturity. 📖 Key Themes in This Message: ✅ Christ as the Head of the Church — Understanding His supreme authority over the Body (Ephesians 1:22–23) ✅ God's Design for Church Leadership — Why spiritual leadership matters in the Church ✅ The Fivefold Ministry — Understanding the roles of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers (Ephesians 4:11) ✅ Equipping the Saints — How ministry leaders prepare believers for works of service (Ephesians 4:12) ✅ Every Believer Has a Role — Recognising that the work of ministry belongs to the whole Church ✅ Unity and Spiritual Growth — Working together to strengthen and build up the Body of Christ ✅ Serving God's Purpose — Discovering how our individual contributions support the mission of the Church The Body of Christ functions best when Christ remains the Head, leaders faithfully equip God's people, and every believer embraces their responsibility to serve. The Church was never designed to depend on a few individuals doing everything. God has given His people different gifts and responsibilities so that, together, we can fulfil His purpose. You are not just called to attend church. You are called to be an active part of the Body of Christ. Whether you're a church leader, ministry worker, new believer, or someone seeking to understand your place in God's Kingdom, this sermon will encourage you to discover your role and contribute meaningfully to the growth of the Church. 🙏 LIKE this video, 💬 COMMENT with your biggest takeaway, and 🔔 SUBSCRIBE to Joy Christian Centre for more Bible-based sermons and teachings that strengthen your faith and deepen your understanding of God's Word. 📢 SHARE this message with your church family, ministry team, or someone seeking to discover their place in the Body of Christ. How is the Body of Christ structured, and what is your role in God's Church? ►► GIVE: To support our growth: https://www.joychristiancentre.com/donate.html ►► NEED PRAYER? https://jccbasildon.wufoo.com/forms/z1k8z2mg0oxskq5/ ►► GAVE YOUR LIFE TO CHRIST? https://jccbasildon.wufoo.com/forms/z1k8z2mg0oxskq5/ ►► PLACE OF WORSHIP NEAR YOU? https://www.joychristiancentre.com/services ►► SUBSCRIBE to Our Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8RcbacMS-QGpAJN9LZajDQ?SUB_CONFIRMATIONS=1 Hit the 🛎 Notification Bell so that you never miss our most recent video. What do you do when you pray, seek God, and enter the secret place—but He still feels silent? In this powerful and encouraging sermon, When My Secret Place Feels Silent, we explore what it means to keep seeking God during seasons of spiritual dryness, unanswered prayer, waiting, and silence. Drawing from Psalm 63, Psalm 42:1–2, Psalm 91:1, Psalm 32:7, Matthew 6:6, Isaiah 41:10, John 15:5, and Psalm 119:25, this message reminds us that the secret place is not built on what we feel—it is built on relationship, trust, dependence, and the presence of God. David knew what it was to thirst for God in a dry and weary land. The psalmist cried out for God like a deer longing for water. Jesus taught us to enter our room, close the door, and pray to our Father in secret. Scripture shows us that even when God seems silent, we can continue to seek Him, abide in Him, and trust that He has not abandoned us. 📖 Key Themes in This Message: ✅ Seeking God when your soul feels spiritually dry (Psalm 63) ✅ Developing a genuine hunger and thirst for God's presence (Psalm 42:1–2) ✅ Learning to dwell in the secret place rather than simply visit it (Psalm 91:1) ✅ Finding refuge and security in God (Psalm 32:7) ✅ Building a private prayer life with God (Matthew 6:6) ✅ Trusting God's presence when you cannot feel Him (Isaiah 41:10) ✅ Remaining connected to Christ through seasons of silence (John 15:5) ✅ Asking God to revive and strengthen your weary soul (Psalm 119:25) There will be seasons when prayer feels powerful and God's presence seems unmistakable. There may also be seasons when you pray and hear nothing, worship and feel nothing, or seek God without receiving the answer you expected. Silence does not mean absence. The invitation is to keep coming back—to pray, worship, wait, listen, read His Word, and remain in Christ. The secret place is where relationship with God grows beyond feelings. It is where we learn to seek God Himself, not simply an experience from God. If your prayer life feels dry, if God seems distant, or if you're wondering whether He still hears you, this message is for you. Don't abandon the secret place because it feels silent. Keep seeking. Keep abiding. Keep trusting. 🙏 LIKE this video, 💬 COMMENT with what spoke to you most, and 🔔 SUBSCRIBE for more Bible-based sermons and Christian teachings that strengthen your faith and deepen your relationship with Jesus Christ. 📢 SHARE this message with someone who may be walking through a spiritually dry or difficult season.
