Here at JCC, we aim to help you connect with God and each other. We are a welcoming and open church that encourages people to come and share in the love of Jesus. Come join our community and grow in your faith alongside others who have the same beliefs and values.
Our Vision
It is our vision to establish a vibrant, multicultural congregation in Basildon that will exalt Christ by bringing God’s good news to the unsaved and broken-hearted.
To welcome people to our church through absolute commitment to outreach combined with a passionate desire to establish a church-family to which people want to belong.
We dream of a place where the broken-hearted, frustrated, the hurting and the rejected will find love, acceptance, encouragement, help, hope, forgiveness, healing, deliverance, joy and peace.
We aim to impact our communities through the practical expression of Christ’s Love in our every day walk.
It is a dream of equipping every believer for a purposeful ministry by helping them discover their God given gifts and talents for short and long term missions around the world.

Our Beliefs
We believe in the Trinity, which is the doctrine that God is one, existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The three persons of the Trinity are distinct and unified, co-existing in perfect harmony and working together to create and sustain the world.

We believe in the divine inspiration of the Bible, that it is the true and inspired word of God. We believe that the Bible is our standard for life, and its truth, integrity, and relevance is of utmost importance. The Bible is not just a book, but a living guide, full of God’s wisdom and guidance.

Jesus is our Hope: He is completely human but, at the same time, completely God. He is the only plan for bringing people who are far from God back into a right relationship with God. He lived a perfect life as an example for us, taught us how to be reunited to our Father, and defeated death in His resurrection so that we can have the life God created us for.

Salvation is a gift from God to mankind. People can never make up for their sin by self-improvement or good works – only by trusting in Jesus Christ and God’s offer of forgiveness can they be saved from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment a person receives Jesus Christ into their life by faith.

Baptism by immersion symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and is your public declaration that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour. Baptism does not save you, but shows the world that you have already been saved. And while baptism is not required for salvation, it is a biblical command and demonstrates your love and obedience to Christ.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, who is the third person of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit is the unifying power between God and humanity, and is the source of our comfort, guidance, and strength. The Holy Spirit helps us to understand and appreciate the Bible, and helps us to live out its teachings in our lives. We believe that the Holy Spirit is with us always, faithfully guiding us in our walk with God. We also believe that the Holy Spirit gives us gifts such as wisdom, knowledge, understanding, healing, miracles, tongues, and prophecy so that we can be used to serve God and spread His love.

The Church is a local community of believers unified through faith in Christ. It is committed to the teachings of Christ and obeying all of His commands, and it seeks to bring the Good News to the world. The Church works together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of living in the way of Jesus.

We believe in the power of prayer, both individually and corporately, as an expression of faith in God’s work in our lives. Prayer is an essential part of a Christian life and is used to talk to God and to communicate with Him. We pray for guidance, strength, healing, protection, and for our families, friends, and community. Through prayer, we seek to deepen our understanding of God’s will and His plans for our lives. Praying helps us grow closer to God and to gain a better understanding of His will and how we can best serve Him.

Man was created to exist forever. He will either be eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with him is eternal life.
